Gel Bird Repellers
Bird Free® Optical Gel Solutions
Developed by scientists in Korea, Bird Free® Optical Gel is a patented preparation containing food-grade natural oils, which keeps all bird species off all structures without harming them, unlike some other types of bird repellers. Bird Free® works as a visual deterrent. It does not kill or trap birds, but immediately changes their behaviour so that they fly away.
Bird Free® Gel has been specially formulated so that birds won’t go near it. Due to their ability to see ultraviolet light, the gel appears to birds of all species, to look like fire, and deters them from landing in their usual roosting spots. This visual deterrence is further reinforced by the selected natural oils contained in Bird Free®, which are abhorrent to birds' sense of smell and taste.
Bird Free® is not regulated by the Biocidal Products Directive because its active ingredients are recognised by the Health & Safety Executive as a food-grade material. It is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use and when left undisturbed it will remain effective for at least two years. It is not affected by extremes of temperature, wind, rain or snow.
